Deborah Lieber, along with her husband Mark, are the founding partners of Lieber & Lieber Law Group, LLP. She is an active trial lawyer in courts throughout California and has litigated cases across the U.S., including New York, Arizona, Utah, Texas and Florida. Ms. Lieber’s trial practice focuses on catastrophic injuries, insurance bad faith, products liability, wrongful termination and employment matters. She has achieved success for her clients at mediation, arbitration and trial.
Ms. Lieber also devotes much of her time to working with non-profit educational and religious organizations, advocating for children with special education needs and representing individuals and families helping them obtain both special education services and financial assistance. She has provided legal counsel for non-profit foundations and associations; executing employment contracts, obtaining grants, securing real estate holdings and providing legal consultation to community leaders. Ms. Lieber also interned with the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office, Environmental Protection Section, working to prevent the illegal importation and distribution of protected animals and search and seizure issues.
Ms. Lieber is an active member of the State Bar of California admitted to practice in 1990. She is also admitted to the United States District Court Central District of California, Southern District of California, Eastern District of California and Northern District of California.
Ms. Lieber received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in English Literature from the University of California at Los Angeles and her Juris Doctorate from Southwestern University School of Law.
